You’ve probably already spotted the 44-strong longlist, so you’ll know just how eagerly anticipated the shortlist reveal will be! Your library can get involved by:

• Order promotional material: Showcase the finalists with a promo pack containing 50 eight-page booklets, 50 bookmarks and two A3 posters — all for just $32 plus GST, (including delivery). Complete this form by 5pm, 12 February.
• Download free resources: From 4 March, access finalist posters and other assets at http://www.nzbookawards.nz/new-zealand-book-awards/resources/ 
• Create a finalist book display: Each promo order includes free finalist stickers to put on your books.
• Join the conversation: Follow and share updates on Facebook, Instagram and X.
• Share the news: From 4 March, share shortlist news and media posts, using #theockhams.
• Host a finalist author event: Celebrate local literary talent in your community.
• Read and review: Encourage staff and readers to explore the shortlist and post reviews on your social channels or website.
