About You | Ko Koe Tēnei 

 

You bring: 

  • Significant senior leadership experience in Libraries, GLAM, Education, or related sectors. 
  • Strategic thinking, authenticity, and courage to challenge the norm. 
  • Proven ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams across multiple facilities. 
  • A collaborative, people-focused approach to change and innovation. 
  • Commitment to lifelong learning, digital transformation, and inclusive access. 

Commitment to equity, inclusion, and understanding of (or willingness to learn and embrace) the cultural values that shape New Zealand's society, including Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Position - Permanent 
Location - This position is primarily based at Tūranga Library, 60 Cathedral Square, Christchurch
Salary - Starting salaries will be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, and relativities both, within the immediate team and in the broader organisation for the same or similar roles.
Relocation support - Available
