Working in partnership with LIANZA, SLANZA National Executive have endorsed a scheme that allows SLANZA members access to LIANZA’s new Continuing Professional Development Pathway.
By subscribing to the LIANZA SLANZA CPD membership, you will have access to the LIANZA CPD Pathway, Te Tōtara Workforce Capability resources and LIANZA’s extensive professional development opportunities and member-only portal.
The CPD Pathway offers new ways to recognise library kaimahi for their commitment to continuing professional development. It is for LIANZA members (and now also SLANZA members) at every level and in every role, regardless of their formal qualifications.
With new 12-month and 36-month certificates and accreditation towards the new CertLIANZA, these options sit alongside RLIANZA professional registration.

Points are awarded for all continuing professional development activities.
A digital logbook for recording all CPD site in the member portal. This is linked to the Te Tōtara Workforce Capability framework.
The interactive and downloadable Te Tōtara resource, is available to support you in planning your professional development journey is only available on the member portal.

With a new professional development role to support this mahi, the CPD Pathway is currently only available to LIANZA members and now also to SLANZA members who subscribe to the LIANZA SLANZA CPD membership.”
To subscribe to the LIANZA SLANZA CPD membership you will need to provide your SLANZA membership number or a membership payment receipt for the current year and pay an additional $70.00 per annum to LIANZA.
