Getting the best out of Te Tōtara workforce capability resources

You may be asking yourself – what is Te Tōtara workforce capability framework, why might I want to know about it and how do I get the best out of Te Tōtara resources?

 

The overall goal of the framework is to value and grow the capabilities of kaimahi in the library and information sector. Te Tōtara framework is guided by a Māori lens using the tōtara tree metaphor. It is a valuable resource for individual kaimahi and for team learning and development.

 

Some library teams have shared it within their wider organisation as it aligns well with Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Other teams have adapted the framework to suit their team and organisation.
