LIANZA Webinar – Explore Te Tōtara Development Journeys
June 24 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm NZST

From April to June, the Te Tōtara community of practice (CoP) will take three Te Tōtara journeys:
- 29 April: Using Te tōtara for your personal learning journey
- 20 May: How team leaders use Te Tōtara to develop team capability
- 24 June: How Te Tōtara can support recruitment and planning in your organisation
This is your opportunity to join the CoP online and learn more about the practical implementation of this library and information workforce capability framework.
“A critical point for me was to develop a business-as-usual development culture. It means that staff could start seeing work in libraries not just as a job, but as a career.” Sarah Corbet, Hamilton Libraries.
Rachel Fisher says Te Tōtara “gave me a framework to work off rather than my own self-created framework. And if everyone has the same framework, then expectations are clear. People have a clear pathway to grow.”
Please invite your colleagues, team leaders, recruiters and planners to these sessions where we talk with library kaimahi who are using Te Tōtara and walk through the steps to build capabilities in your setting.
