Disaster preparedness, response and recovery

The Canterbury earthquakes have shown the impact that disasters can have on New Zealand libraries.  Althoug these natural disasters have had signficant and visible effects, disasters can occur in many forms.  Approprate disaster recovery/business continuity planning for libraries can assist in both prevention and response.
