IFLA 2010 - change of venue from Brisbane to Sweden

IFLA has announced that the 2010 IFLA World Library and Information Congress (WLIC) will be no longer be held in Brisbane Australia.

With the uncertainty around the world economic crisis combined with very limited opportunity for government and local financial support the Governing Board has agreed that it cannot risk a potential significant financial loss for IFLA.

IFLA has announced that the event will now be held in Göteborg, Sweden, from 10 - 15 August 2010.
