Final results of the 2009 LIANZA Council Elections

Announcing the LIANZA National Council for 2009/10

In 2009 six Council positions were contestable. A nomination was received for the positions of President (Barbara Garriock), Treasurer (Steve Graves), Hikuwai (Kim Taunga) and Te Upoko o te Ika a Maui (Laurinda Thomas) Councillors and these have been previously announced.

Two nominations were received for both Vice President and Aoraki Regional Councillor. Voting closed on Monday 11th May and votes were counted today (5 days after the close of the voting 6.6.1 LIANZA Rules).
