Expressions of Interest - Marketing the Profession Working Group

The LIANZA National Council is seeking expressions of interest from LIANZA members keen to join a new Working Group set up to address the issue of marketing librarianship as a career option, primarily to the secondary school sector.

As a greying profession, attracting and recruiting new talent to the profession is now more important than ever, yet the profession is underrepresented in the material currently available through school careers or vocational guidance departments. The Working Group's brief will be to develop a plan and deliver resources that target both students and careers advisors.

This letter is a request for expressions of interest from LIANZA members who are interested in participating in the Working Group comprising 4-8 members.
