The Standards and Cultural Resource Sharing Seminar is aimed at raising awareness of the importance of standards in the e-learning and collections fields through a survey of the current state-of-the art in standards and frameworks development relevant to educational institutions, libraries, museums, galleries and archives.

The one day seminar is aimed at policy makers and practitioners in the educational and cultural sectors.

The seminar has been developed by Standards New Zealand' and Standards Australia's IT-019 Computer Applications Information and Documentation committee to address its mission to disseminate and promote Standards for Information and Documentation.
