LIANZA Copyright Act Implications

A significant number of Libraries across the country offer free internet access as part of the Aotearoa People's Network, which was established in 2007 as a part of the Government's digital policy. It is somewhat ironic another Government policy threatens to shut this down. Again the disdavantaged lose out. It will also cause a headache and increase internet costs for libraries to even start to try and monitor internet access. -Kim
