Te Ropu Whakahau - Maori Library and Information Workers Association has been formed to encourage Maori participation in Library Information work, and educational resourcing. The group has a formal partnership with the LIANZA (based on the Treaty of Waitangi) and consists of Maori who work or have an interest in Libraries, Archives and Information Management. There is also a category of Membership available to those Institutions and Individuals who are not of Maori descent, but who wish to support the group's Kaupapa.  For more details go to the Te Ropu Whakahau website.
