We are seeking a part-time Librarian with energy and initiative to join the Information Services Team.

We are seeking a part-time Librarian with energy and initiative to join the Information Services team. You will work on the Information Desks including our Virtual Reference Desk, and participate in the development and provision of information literacy initiatives for on-campus and online students.

Experience working in a library is essential along with a degree, and you will have a formal qualification in librarianship or be currently enrolled in a library programme. A teaching qualification in adult learning or experience in teaching adults would be advantageous and you will also have a flexible attitude to work tasks, good ICT, analytical, organisational and communication skills.

The proposed hours of work are 9.30am to 2.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Salary will be in the range of $44,303 to $56,438 per year, pro rata, depending on qualifications, skills and experience.
