Information Support Specialist

We are seeking an Information Support Specialist to spearhead implementation of new practices and systems for managing our information and knowledge. This newly created position will play a vital role in shaping Landcare Research’s information and knowledge systems through using leading edge SharePoint technology that will enable staff to manage and use their information in more efficient and effective ways.

This is a fantastic developmental role that has the scope for the successful applicant to develop and make their own, while building 21st century information management skills and MOSS experience. This position will champion the implementation, development and support of Landcare Research’s electronic document and collaboration systems developed using MOSS 2007.
We seek an individual familiar with MOSS 2007 that has an information or records management related tertiary qualification or relevant practical experience. Someone looking for a new challenge in this area will be considered.

This position requires a strong user and service focus, well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a proactive hands on attitude.

This position is permanent full time Monday to Friday located at Lincoln, Canterbury.
