Conditions for advertising with LIANZA 

Content

• Advertisements should be of interest to and targeted toward LIANZA members.  Advertising which is in no way related to Library and Information services may be refused.
• All advertisements are subject to approval by LIANZA editorial and production staff.  LIANZA reserves the right of refusal for advertising requests.
• Advertisements should meet a reasonable standard of good taste and abide by LIANZA’s stated policies, goals and objectives.  Messages or images which are deemed objectionable may not be placed online and a suitable replacement may be requested.

Placement

• Advertisement positioning is controlled by LIANZA editorial and production staff.
• Advertisements must be designed to be placed and viewed entirely within the space allocated on a webpage.  No form of pop-up or pop-under advertising is allowed.
• The size of advertising panels must not exceed the stated maximums.  Supplied images which do exceed size restrictions may be resized or cropped at LIANZA’s discretion.

Format

• Advertisments may be in GIF, JPEG or Flash formats but consideration must be given to file size, which should be suitable for dial-up speed internet users. Animated advertising is accepted, given that it abides by the above criteria.
• Animated advertisements are restricted to three animation cycles.
• Sound is not allowed.
• Advertisements may link to the advertiser’s website upon request.

Submission

• Advertising images should be supplied to LIANZA two full working days before the period paid for begins – no refund will be given if the advertisement has not been delivered to LIANZA in time.
• A separate contract may be required for placement in more than one advertising category within the same period.
