Hi all,
Hope you all enjoyed your time at conference and in Rotorua….we were happy to host you all. We look forward to all your feedback and hope that you fill in the conference evaluation so that we can ensure to deliver a high standard for future conferences.
The staff in Rotorua would like to thank you all for attending and making the conference such a success, and we can’t wait to do it all again in the future
The Mermaids danceband have written to me to say how much of a great crowd you all were at the conference dinner, they have never experienced such a lively crowd like you all before :))
Auckland is up next, so please get your comments in as it will help the new committee in their planning….until then, keep smiling

Have you ever thought about a career in Bibliographic Services (Acquisitions, Cataloguing, Indexing) at the National Library of New Zealand? We’re always on the look-out for bright, talented librarians. If a career in a forward-thinking organisation committed to enriching the lives of all New Zealanders appeals to you, come along to the National Library stand Tuesday during afternoon tea and have a chat with Anne Anderson, Manager of Bibliographic Services. One of the more recent additions to the line-up, Chelsea Hughes, will also be on hand to answer questions. We hope you’ll come along to hear the interesting and exciting career opportunities available in Bibliographic Services!
Cheers!

Just to let you know that it is getting quite chilly in Rotorua at nights again and we are dropping to a cool zero overnight at the moment. Don’t forget some warm gear for outside the venue. It will be a nice 21 degrees inside the venue so be like an onion, and wear layers!
2 days to go :)Â Mericia

To be in the draw to win one of three prize packs containing the winners from the LIANZA Children’s Book Awards just come and say hi to the Wheelers Books team (at Stand 28) and drop your card or a piece of paper with your details on into the box provided. The winners will be drawn at the end of the LIANZA Children’s Book Awards presentation ceremony (which starts at 11.30am on Tuesday 11 September) so they need to be there to collect their prize.

If you’re interested in meeting fellow bloggers, or in finding out what is involved in becoming a blogger, we’ll have an informal get-together immediately after the ITSIG session on Tuesday morning in the Skellerup Room. We’ll decide what to do next then.

Are there any other LIANZA members attending conference who have responsibility for their organisation’s intranet or website?
If so, please make yourselves known - I would love to meet up and share experiences and ideas.
Kind regards
