International InterloansThe JSCI expects New Zealand libraries to request and supply international interloans in accordance with the principles established in IFLA’s International lending and document delivery: principles and guidelines for procedure. As New Zealand does not have a national centre for interlibrary loan and document delivery, libraries in New Zealand are free to send international interloan requests to overseas libraries and to respond directly to international interloan requests they receive. Overseas libraries should direct international interloans to a New Zealand library known to hold the item requested. After 1 July 2007 New Zealand libraries’ holdings will be included in OCLC’s WorldCat. Overseas librarians should use www.worldcat.org to identify a New Zealand library that holds the item they require and send the international interloan directly to the holding library. Names and addresses of New Zealand libraries can be found in the Directory of New Zealand Libraries at http://directory.natlib.govt.nz Where an overseas library does not know which New Zealand library holds the item required, they should submit their international interloan request to: Document locating, Reference Services National Library of New Zealand PO Box 1467 WELLINGTON 6140 Telephone: +64 4 474 3031 Fax: +64 4 474 3070 Attention: Document locating Email: docloc@natlib.govt.nz
