Interloan Billing System (IBS)The Interloan Billing System (IBS) is a centralised billing system that supports charging for national and Trans Tasman interloans. The National Library of New Zealand provides the IBS on behalf of the Joint Standing Committee on Interloan. Any library wishing to join IBS should contact the IBS Administrator IBS@natlib.govt.nz National InterloansThe Frequently Asked Questions will be updated regularly. If you have a question check to see if an answer has been posted. If not, send your question to ibs@natlib.govt.nz Libraries needing to manually submit information about their interloan transactions should do so on the following form, IBS Input Form - Debit Sheet. Corrections should be submitted on IBS Input Form - Correction Sheet. When completed forms should be emailed to ibs@natlib.govt.nz. To make the system run as smoothly as possible we would appreciate it if libraries could submit their IBS input sheets by the end of the 2nd working day of the month. If the forms are received any later than this, processing of payments are likely to be delayed to the following month. Some Charter And Non-Charter libraries are not yet IBS users. A list of these libraries has been produced for the information of Interloan Librarians. Transactions rejected from IBS billing : IBS and Trans Tasman InterlendingFrom 1 July 2007 onwards charging for Trans Tasman Interlending will be managed through IBS. Refer to the Frequently Asked Questions for an explanation of the minor differences in the IBS policy and procedures between billing for national and Trans Tasman Interlending. IBS Administrator
