Submission on Digital Literacy and Learning Environments
LIANZA Council has made a submission to the Education and Science Select Committee on ‘The Enquiry into 21st Century learning environments and digital literacy’.
We have been asked to appear before the Committee to speak about our submission

LIANZA is once again calling for applications for the LIANZA Study and Partnered Awards. Even if you personally do not meet the award criteria but can think of people that do, now is the time to encourage them to apply. These awards are an integral part of LIANZA's vision and purpose.

Judges Announced 2012 LIANZA Children’s Book Awards
Librarians from Gisborne, Marlborough, Auckland and Dunedin make up the judging panel for this year's LIANZA Children’s Book Awards.
For the next two months, the judges will read over 100 books published in New Zealand in 2011. They will select the best junior fiction, young adult fiction, non fiction, illustrated works and books written in te reo Māori.
